• The start date for application form  – 8th February 2016
• Last Date  for application form  – 4th April 2016

• Downloading of Admit Card – 30th April 2016
• Date of examination – 8th May 2016

COMEDK UGET 2016 Eligibility Criteria

• Applicants should have passed 10+2 or 2nd PUC
• Applicants should have studied Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics
• Physics and Mathematics should be the compulsory subjects
• Chemistry, Biology or Biotechnology or any other technical vocational courses.
• minimum aggregate score of 45% (40% of SC/STOBC candidates of Karnataka)

Note: Diploma applicants are not eligible to take the Entrance Test as there are no lateral entry admissions.

Tips to Ace Medical Entrance Exam

The entrance exam for medical course is not very easy and needs a lot of dedicated study. Good amount of study of the course details is necessary. You must have in-depth knowledge of the theory and the practical aspect. Memorizing the notes and bookish lines alone will not help if you do not understand the theory well. Never panic about the future possibilities and day dream about what your future holds. Concentrate on your studies and make the most of the time. Time is pretty short as you have to sit for the compulsory 12th grade board examinations about the same time. Never waste the time and try to find previous years question papers and suggestions for the present year.

The entrance exam for medical can be possibly cracked if you follow a disciplined life. Start your day early with light exercise and prayers. Sit to study when your mind is fresh. Being a bookworm will never help as your critical thinking is tested and your general understanding of the subject is asked in the test. You must have thorough knowledge of the practical aspects than theoretical part of the study. Solve the papers of the previous years on own without taking help from books and tuition teachers. Try to understand your areas of strengths and weaknesses to work on your shortcomings. Calm your mind with deep breathing exercises. Get up early on the exam day and try to give your best in the tests.

PG medical entrance exams are difficult for all the medical students. Only the best medical students can go through these to secure a place in the postgraduate study. You must work hard and study seriously in your medical years to be on the top of the chart. Make sure to grasp the knack of taking notes from good books and when the teacher teaches in class. Getting idea from senior students can be helpful in many ways.
